Ragapop: Ukranian Art & Music Trio

The beginning of the band was a photo project of Ruslana and Anna on Instagram.

The name came about when Ruslana failed to pronounce the name of Dakh Daughters tour manager in France "Robocop" several times in a row, and each time it included "Ragapop". 

When Ruslana met guitarist Anton Ocheretyany, the project became a band. 

Gordosti 's debut single and music video was released on May 1, 2020. 

The first EP is called " Siasya " and consists of three tracks on the lyrics of Ivan Franko , including the previously presented single "Gordosti". [5] [6] Work on the record lasted a year and a half between tours of Dakh Daughters, the release was scheduled for spring, but the band was forced to postpone filming due to the pandemic, and with him decided to postpone the release until the summer. The material was recorded at the Kyiv studios Zvukocekh and Lipkyzvukozapys.

In 2021, as part of the ZMOVA project, the band performed live at the National Cinematheque of Ukraine . 

The same year saw the release of the EP " Live from Nauchfilm " recorded during filming. In addition to old songs, the mini-album includes a live performance of the new song " Totally Out Of Control "

This year, the band was also nominated for the Aprize Music Awards .

The band members are Ruslana Khazipova and Anna Nikitina from Dakh Daughters and the musician Anton Ocheretyanyi. Together they create experimental electronic music using the lyrics based on Ivan Franko's poetry.
