As the founder of the Franco-Moroccan band Bab L’Bluz, I would like to highlight that SAMA was one of the greatest opportunities we had during the pandemic. It provided us with international visibility, allowing us to share our music and our story.

Whether through our acoustic performance at WOMEX 21 in Porto or the online session, this initiative enabled us and other artists to maintain a connection with the audience at a time when public concerts were severely restricted.

Moreover, SAMA showcases a blend of arts from all cultures and backgrounds. For many, it offers a unique opportunity to discover music from around the world and to notice the striking similarities between certain melodies or instruments, even when countries are geographically distant.
