Yousra Mansour, frontwoman with Bab L’ Bluz, along with her bandmates create a gorgeous and hypnotic vibe that combines traditional instruments such as awicha and gimbri with rock and electronics. Moroccan chaabi is seasoned with contemporary trance and the clattering percussion of qaraqab (metal castanets), while the propulsive drumming is enlivened by a 21st century psych groove.
