With a "theme" of Empowered Women, this African focused festival aims to strengthen social, cultural, and economic equality for women. The festival will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Magnuson Park Hangar-30 (6310 NE 74th ST, Seattle, WA 98115).

Internationally known singers Yemi Alade, Nigeria, Dobet Gnahore, Cote d’Ivoire, and locally-based Naomi Wachira, Kenya, are headliners. Music groups, singers, art, clothing, accessories, and cultural item vendors will be present alongside food trucks. PLEASE NOTES this 21+ with a valid ID

Serving as an opportunity to disseminate values, teachings, cultural ways, and beauty as represented by African women will call together many diverse community peoples. Promoter producer Abdul Ndiaye explains it like this “we want to celebrate, music, visual arts, food, and education, by presenting some of the best African female artists in the world. We work proactively to bring diversity and cultural enrichment to the city of Seattle and King County.”
