One of our locations, the PENHA SCO Arte Cooperativa, has a beautiful story that aligns with our Philosophy and effort in celebrating diversity while championing our shared humanity. We wanted to share that with you all since we will be working with them again soon. PENHA SCO is a production and artistic diffusion cooperative in Lisbon, Portugal. It was founded with the goal of promoting diversity and shared humanity through art. The cooperative is based in a former textile factory that has been converted into a space for exhibitions, performances, concerts, workshops, and seminars. The main focus of PENHA SCO is to create a community of thought and affection through art that encourages vulnerability, non-linearity, and the experience of difference. The cooperative aims to provide access to cultural events to everyone, offering more than 100 events per year to the community, either for free or through conscious collaboration.
